A Road Trip Through Halifax & The Eastern Shore, Nova Scotia
Published January 29th, 2025
Join me in exploring and adventuring through Halifax and The Eastern Shore regions of Nova Scotia via road trip!
Yes, the iconic Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse is a bright attraction but here’s so much more to explore and experience here.
From kayaking to stand up paddleboarding to e-biking and hiking, these are great ways to get a different vantage point of this part of of Noval Scotia
Something I highly recommend is to experience clam digging through Memory Lane Village. Clam digging has a long history in Nova Scotia and it’s a low-impact experience with high levels of fun and knowledge.
You’ll even get to eat what you’ve dug up afterward!
If fresh seafood is on your menu, the dining options are absolutely unbeatable.
And for lodging, there’s a variety of types for every preference, from a remote cabin to modern hotels.
My chariot for this Nova Scotia road trip was a Ford Mustang Convertible GT and yes, I had the top down for nearly my entire trip.
Most importantly, it was the people I met along the way made this trip the most memorable. In a truly touching moment, a stranger flat-out gave me a pair of high-end sandals after my running shoes were ruined.
I’ll shout this from everywhere I go; East coast kindness is truly unmatched.
