And now, we’ve had the chance to pull back the curtain and interview the man who’s in in charge of lighting up and illuminating Niagara Falls, Linus MacDonald.
With a long career in lighting, plus working on other lighting projects for Niagara Parks, Linus shares the origins of the Falls being illuminated to his contributions, innovations and how his created an efficient system to manage the lights.
Niagara Falls is visited by millions each year and is one of Canada’s most popular tourist attractions, almost all of which have gazed upon the Falls at night. It’s perhaps something taken for granted, even if its appreciated in a subtle way.
