Waving Hello to Peterborough, Ontario's Wonderful Waterfront

Steph, our parter and owner of RoadTripper.ca, takes an exciting road trip and experiences the grand reopening of the Canadian Canoe Museum in Peterborough, Ontario as the centrepiece of their wonderful waterfront.
The Canadian Canoe Museum prides itself on accessibility and honouring the rich history of the region and its connection to the water.
What’s there to do in Peterborough? Well aside from the popular canoeing and kayaking on the various waterways, there’s the unique Le Boat experience, museums to marvel at , art galleries and simply strolling the streets to soak in the city.

Yes, that’s my kayak on the 2024 Subaru Outback, which was her vehicle of choice for this Peterborough road trip. Standard full-time all-wheel drive, a mile long list of standard safety features , and modern technology help make the drive more enjoyable. Plus, with its long roof, there’s more than enough cargo space and rear passengers have of legroom to be comfortable on the journey.
